Good knowledge on VMware GSX/ESX Servers
Good knowledge on Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 & Windows 2003 including Active Directory
Good knowledge about backup/restores & the software available
Should have worked with OEM hardware (IBM/HP) & remote connectivity tools
Should be aware of RAID concepts and disk management tools
Should have good troubleshooting skills
Ability to communicate technical solutions/issues to both technical and non technical people
Ability to build excellent customer relationships driven by a desire to understand needs
Ability to identify the business impact of application problems on the customer
Willingness to be involved in 24/7 standby to ensure provision of necessary support
Willingness to undertake work at client sites onshore as and when required
